My buddy and I both scuba dive and golf and he is so adamant that golf is a more expensive sport than scuba diving. I couldn’t disagree more and want your input if your not bias to just one sport. I have worked at a golf course and a dive shop and would say diving is a much more expensive sport in general.

Scuba is expensive to get started in. Upfront costs for scuba would probably make you think that scuba is more expensive. But over all, golf is more expensive by far. Greens fees, memberships fees and equipment are very costly. They are ongoing. Not to mention clothes that are bought for playing in are expensive if you play regularly. If you play tournaments forget it, golf far exceeds scuba in costs.
