Here I’m checking my newly made mens vintage Hydroglove smooth latex rubber 2 piece drysuit for any water leaks in my bathtub. The vintage dry suit has attached feet, gloves and a hood. The drysuit came with rubber swim trunks. I’m breathing through my Interspiro AGA mask that has a surface gill that I close at the start of the video. I’m wearing my U.S. Divers Otarie vintage black fins over my feet.

Product Description
Scuba Diving

This rear expanding jacket has a simplified harness and lighter material than the Back Jac model and has been specifically designed for those who travel. Light Jac offers all the advantages in terms of freedom of movement, of great buoyancy and hydro-dynamism of rear extending models. To keep the volume of the sack to a minimum there is an elastic retainer which also aids quick and easy deflation. The buoyancy levels are very high: 12.2kg of thrust on size XS and about 20 kg on size M. Despite these characteristics, which are typical of professional equipment, the weight remains quite low (3.1 kg size M) and is ideal for carrying on flights. The range of accessories is of excellent quality: roll up pocket for stowing a spare mask or other objects on the right hand side, an elasticated, fully adjustable waistband, comfortable back cover, Lock Aid weight system, full range of D-rings and snap-locks for carrying accessories.

Giant Cuttlefish Attack SCUBA diver

Giant Cuttlefish (Sepia apama) attack on female dive buddy. Cuttlefish breed and lay their eggs around this time of year – and become very aggressive and “frisky”. They are very intellegent and are attracted to “shiny” things such as this torch, and especially anything that is yellow in colour. I motioned to her to switch the torch off, unfortunately she didn’t understand and this footage is the result. This is the first time this diver had ever seen a cuttlefish. This cuttlefish followed us for another 20 minutes.

While you are scuba diving, you are no doubt amazed by the beauty and grace of the underwater world and wish to share it with your family and friends who you have not been able to convince to go with you as of yet. Or maybe you just want to capture photos of your experiences so that you can keep them for your own enjoyment. No matter the reason, most people have a great desire to begin learning underwater photography fairly early on in their scuba diving career.

If this sounds like you, you have likely already begun browsing your local scuba dive shops for equipment and started reading up on articles and information published by underwater photography professionals. While you can find a lot of information in this way, a lot of it is technical and hard to follow. For this reason, the best way to learn how to take pictures underwater is to start taking them and then learn through trial and error.
