Where should i go for my summer vacation?

My dad has free plane tickets, and told me and my mom we can go anywhere in the United States for our family vacation this year except Hawaii. Where should we go? Someplace with pretty views, if it’s on the beach like my mom and i want, we want it to have pretty reefs so we can go scuba diving. Any suggestions? Places inland are good too.
