0 Heavy Dive Gear, The Mark V DiversEvery year we get together and dive at the Long Island Maritime Museum Eadowedge estate Sayville, N.Y. The heritage of the Hard family has a collection of 10,00 objects,and a rich archive of documents and photographs. Today, we’re diving the 1943 US Navy Mark V dive dress, manufactured in Brooklyn, New York. The rig was used extensively during World II. The gear was taken out of commission in the late 1970’s.
