We wear our thigh …
We wear our thigh pockets on both sides, since we typically dive drysuits. We also use DPVs quite a bit, so having a pocket on the right side is beneficial as we steer the DPV and keep our light mounted on the left hand. It is really a matter of personal preference, however some instructors get concerned about one method of gear configuration versus the other. The bottom line is that whichever side you mount your pocket on needs to be accessible to you.
I have a question. …
I have a question. I recently brought a thigh pocket but I was told it should be on the left thigh and not the right side? You seem to tap your right side which was where I had mine at. I was told that it gets in the way when you do 7 foot hose or other stuff (what ever the other stuff would be)? What is your opinion?
