You often hear people talking about adventure travel and that makes you wonder as to what adventure travel actually is. It is something by which u can add adventure and fun to your life. So before going for an adventure travel, you must know what it is. Adventure travels does not mean that you have to endanger your life for your trip to be called adventurous!
The term adventurous is a concept that is not defined physically when you talk about adventure travel. This concept is defined psychologically. Different people have different definitions of adventure. Earlier adventure travels meant going abroad or just traveling to different places. However, its definition has changed today. Adventure travel is when you experience an event rather than being a mere spectator in your travels. It is actually living in the present and experiencing the place and not just sight seeing.
Adventure is different for everyone. What may appear adventurous to you could be totally boring for someone. And that is reason that there are so many options available if you want to go for adventure travels. You can choose the one which suits you, and more importantly the one which excites you! White water rafting or kayaking can be fun for someone. On the other hand camping in an interesting place can de defined as adventurous by some people. Adventure travel is when you get yourself involved in an enthralling experience. It includes boating, kayaking, hiking, sky diving, mountain climbing, scuba diving, sailing, bicycling and much more! You should not indulge yourself into any form of adventure travels in which you are not comfortable. The level of risk in your travel is defined by you just like term adventure is defined individually. The Subtle Knife
The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman is the second book of the His Dark Materials trilogy. The science fiction/fantasy book explores the adventures of two young children from parallel worlds, and their mysteriously linked missions. Will is twelve, and has just killed a man. Now he is escaping his old life, determined to uncover the truth about his father’s disappearance. Will steps through a window into another world, where he meets Lyra, a young savage and also determined young girl, who has an ambition of her own. The two become friends, both strangers in this bizarre world, and travel together through the dangerously haunted world of Cittagazze. But in the city of Torre degli Angeli lays an unfathomable object; the fete of all worlds, which many people would die for.
This novel captivates the audience through its unpredictable plot and unreadable characters. The storyline is detailed and complex, written in such a descriptive manner that the words of the novel paint a portrait in the reader’s imagination. This brilliant writing by Philip Pullman adds depth to the story, and makes the narrative all the more exciting and intriguing. Only in the last pages of the book do all the pieces of the puzzle created throughout the novel fall into place in perfect accord.
The Subtle Knife portrays various themes, which are skilfully hidden under the brilliant composition of the book. One main topic depicted throughout the book is religion, using references to Church, the Authority (God), and the Garden of Eden. This novel, alike most fantasy stories, centres around the forces of good and evil, which relates to the religious theme, as it shows the two forces searching to find their faith. Moral themes such as courage, fear, trust, love and betrayal also feature throughout the book.
The Subtle Knife is spellbinding and gripping; packed with emotion, adventure, betrayal, and discovery. I enjoyed this novel thoroughly, my preferred book in the trilogy. No particular episode of the novel can be drawn out as my favourite, as the whole book was so intriguing, new things were happening on every page.
I would recommend this book for girls and boys aged around twelve to sixteen, who are prepared to indulge in an enthralling adventure. This age group would be able to relate to some of the experiences of the adolescent characters and learn from the various morals shown throughout the story. In this novel, use of informal and colloquial language is combined with the unique vocabulary created by the author representing names of places, characters and organisations, as well as a symbol of the underlying themes. Such a technique is often used in fantasy novels. My rating of this book is 10/10, I couldn’t pick an imperfection if I tried.

it is of very high quality something that is often seen in writing of that much more experienced that of a year seven student. i don’t know you or your capabilities but going on exactly what is written there i think your teachers would think you copied from somewhere unless you are particularly good at english.
if you did write it well done. i couldn’t write something as good as that and the review made me want to read the book.

It’s a good review – the only thing I’d say is that I give very little weight to reviews which say "this book is completely perfect." No book is completely perfect. Come on, wasn’t there _anything_ which you thought "huh?" about? No time you thought, "so why isn’t he/she saying/doing x?" No time you thought, "I wish that had been explained in a bit more detail"? No time you thought, "okay, I get it, now get on with the story already"?
You’re a reviewer. Picking imperfections is your _job_. Saying "I couldn’t pick an imperfection if I tried" gives the strong impression that you set out to only say positive things.

Nice. As far as the series goes, The Subtle Knife is actually my least favorite, but this is a really good review. I reviewed the series myself not too long ago. 🙂
