Scuba diving regulations in Couzemel?
I’m traveling to Couzemel in about three weeks. I’ve heard the diving is extraordinary there and would love to go. I’m currently not a certified diver, but still want to dive. In Couzemel do you have to be certified to scuba? Or do you take a class prior to diving? Also if anyone has gone was it as good as everyone says it is?
Certainly you can dive in Cozumel even though you are an uncertified diver. You can take what’s called a Resort Course. This includes a 2 hour class and then they take you on a shallow dive where you are fully supervised.
I have done it myself there and it was great fun. You can check www.aquaworld.com.mx for info
I have no idea, and I have the same question… It would have helped if you had spelled "Cozumel" right.

go to http://www.cozumelmycozumel.com Its a locally run site. You will be able to snorkel there without any type of certicication but you wont be able do dive, You can get certified in a few days, but thats pretty intensive training though, like classes on land and then an open water dive. Check it out there is a place there called Deep Exposure its the best Place to go. they certified my whole family in under a week 🙂
