Where should I travel for Christmas?

I’m looking for a destination for Christmas travel with a friend. We are two women so it needs to be safe. We want it to be fairly inexpensive, ie airfare under $1000. Preferably warm with the potential to scuba dive, but my friend isn’t a diver so that isn’t critical. Neither of us are skiers/boarders so no ski resorts. And we only have a week, so we don’t want to spend 2 days traveling there and back from the US.

Barbados is a a great place to travel in the Caribbean. It has the right temperature activities and everything. If you are lucky you may also see Rhianna(she is Barbadian) there as well.

Head to south shore Lake Tahoe… The atmosphere is terrific, you can go to the clubs and dance the night away every night, there is plenty of great food and the views of the lake are fabulous! The snow will make the air crisp and your time will be remembered for years from the joy you will recieve while in such a universal spot.

How about Hawaii, it’s close because it’s in the USA and you can definitely scuba dive there. Even though it’s in USA, it’s very ‘different’ and will be a great vaca for you. My suggestion is to go to Maui and stay in one of the less expensive lodgings in Lahina Town. There are huge resort hotels nearby but very pricey.
