I underwent surgery three weeks ago, to remove a hernia from my abdomen caused by a hernia. I want to know if its safe to go scuba diving. Or if its too soon.
According to DAN (Diver’s Alert Network) :
"a sliding hiatal hernia does not by itself contraindicate diving." however a "paraesophageal hiatal hernia is considered a contraindication to diving."
No idea which you have but here’s the link for you to discuss with your Doctor.

Your doctor is in the best position to answer that question. He/she (or you) can also contact the Diver’s Alert Network non-emergency medical line to get an opinion from a medic trained in dive medicine.
The non-emergency line is 1-800-446-2671 or 1-919-684-2948, and is staffed Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm (ET)
