Outside does not …
Outside does not equal a tiny, small (skin-tight!) space, with constant pressure of the outside water.
Now, in the outside, a feline will (generally), glance around for a good ideal of its surroundings. Even if it is accustomed to them. That’s why felines, a cautious bunch, are still around
I’m not saying it is abuse, but clearly the thing is worried and in some distress.
As another seemed …
As another seemed to say, looks like the cat fussed a bit early on, but generally enjoyed the experience. Hawkeye’s better, though, as you can know for sure that one loves diving. And if you disagree about Hawkeye, then I’m sorry for your inability to accept the unfamiliar.
I also know a cat …
I also know a cat that can have similar behaviour just being outside. They still love it. Not knowing the animal in question personally, you really can’t judge.

And not all cats …
And not all cats react the same to the same things. Take, for instance, Hawkeye, the other scuba-cat. Loves water and diving with her best friend, the scuba-dog Mutley. Now, if we knew more about this cat than just the visuals of this video, there might be some understanding of why it might be interested. As it stands, we just see a cat getting suited up and taken for a dive, putting up little noticable fuss except for a few meows early on.
At first, perhaps, …
At first, perhaps, but it seemed pretty cool with it as it went on. Still, doesn’t seem to be nearly as cool with diving as the other scuba-cat, Hawkeye. Then again, there’s not much backstory on this one to explain it like there is with Hawkeye.
Yeah, all’s well …
Yeah, all’s well that ends well. Not sure I’d volunteer my own cats to go scuba diving (or even myself) but this is still a decent video.
I think this would …
I think this would be fun for the cat as long as there are fish around and as long as it’s feeling good ๐
